Statement
The mission
of Trinity Lutheran Church is to proclaim salvation through
Christ Jesus, to nurture believers in their faith and to
equip them for ministry in His kingdom, here in Fountain
Hills and throughout the world, through the power of the
Holy Spirit to the Glory of God the Father.
Our mission will be accomplished
by:
- Worship and praise
(formal and informal)
- Prayer (congregational
and personal)
- Preaching (the beauty
of the Law and Gospel)
- Teaching (all that
Christ taught us – to all ages)
- Studying (all that
Christ taught us – by all ages)
- Sharing God’s
Word and spirit of forgiveness
- Administering the
Sacraments (Baptism, Lord’s Supper)
- Witnessing (within
the congregation and outside it)
- Supporting Christian
Missions (local and worldwide)
- Loving, caring and
supporting (members and non-members)
- Providing Pastoral
care to church and community
- Maintaining a proper
stewardship attitude (of money, time and talents, for local,
Synodical and charitable work)
- Fostering fellowship
activity (for worship, education and fellowship)
