"FUNDING
FOR THE FAMILY"
One of the articles in the August
issue of "Trinity Truth" mentions raising
funds for three specific ministry/mission efforts to be
accomplished. At the special voters' meeting on August 16,
the congregation voted and approved the three items as follows:
- Remodeling of some interior space to provide an office
for our new Director of Family Ministry staff person.
- Raise funds to support an overseas mission focused on
ministry to families.
- Provide a small financial gift to each of the seminaries
to assist with the tuition of pastors in training.
As mentioned in
the article, we will need to raise $21,000 to accomplish
the three ministry/mission goals. Our target date to complete
this fundraiser was October 1, 2009. As you see, we didn't meet our
target date. However, we are continuing to work toward
raising the $21,000. With God's help, and through the work of the Holy
Spirit, we'll even exceed the goal.
