DECORATIONS ON SATURDAY POSTPONED –
HELP NEEDED, PLEASE!
Due to the construction during the Sanctuary up-grades this week, we have found it necessary to postpone the decorating of the Christmas trees this Saturday. We have rescheduled the taking down of Christmas trees, decorations, and wreaths from yesterday to the following:
Thursday, December 7th at 3:00 p.m. – the trees and decorations will be brought down from the attic, as will the wreaths. The wreaths will be hung in the Narthex and on the exterior doors.
Saturday, December 9th at 9:00 a.m. – the trees will be put up and decorated with the Trinity ornaments.
While we know that this will coincide with the Cookie Walk festivities, we are reaching out to our members to ask that you please think about taking a little time out of your morning to help with the decorating festivities of our beautiful Sanctuary Christmas trees.
TRINITY 2023 COOKIE WALK
It will be a tasty and beautiful affair, a fundraiser for Extended Hands Food Bank, and YOUR HELP IS NEEDED!!!
On Saturday, December 9, we will be offering a wide range of home-baked cookies. We especially need bakers willing to bake and donate 10 dozen of your favorite cookies or cookie bars. Please look through your recipe books and find that special recipe everyone loves. Arrange your cookies on rectangular trays available in the church kitchen, wrap them securely with plastic wrap to keep them fresh, and label the variety of cookies you have baked.
We would appreciate it if you indicate your intentions by adding your name to the sign-up sheet in the church hallway. Cookies will need to be delivered to church by 9:00 am on Friday, December 8 so that set up can take place. A big thanks to all willing to help!
If you don’t bake, please come, help, and shop!
Help with the sale is needed on Thursday, December 7 at 10 a.m. to assemble our bakery boxes, Friday December 8 at 9 a.m. to arrange cookie trays on our tables, and on Saturday, December 9 beginning at 8:30 a.m. to assist with the actual sale. A sign-up sheet for helpers is posted. Please contact Gail Schultz with questions or to volunteer.
