Meet Pastor Tom Daly
|
Pastor Tom is a native son of Arizona, born in Tucson and raised in the West Valley. His parents were both dance instructors with Arthur Murray, and his father was the owner of the dance studio here in Phoenix. Pastor Daly Sr. became a second career pastor, moving the family to Central Illinois. Pastor Tom graduated from Pekin Community High School and Eureka College, both in IL. He next attended seminary at Fort Wayne, IN, and received his first call to serve a congregation in Western NY, (just south of Buffalo), in 1984. After next serving four different congregations in Central IL, he was called to Trinity in Fountain Hills in December, 2005.
He is happy to be back in the desert climate, and enjoys golfing and other outdoor activities. He is an avid reader, focusing primarily on history and philosophy. He loves conversation, story telling and interaction with people. His greatest thrill in the church is helping the Word of God come alive for people who are reading and studying it. |
